Senior Director, Corporate Communications
RxBenefits seeks a Senior Director, Corporate Communications to lead the organization’s creative copywriters and content specialists into the future with a powerful, modern approach to integrated storytelling. Essential Job Responsibilities Include:
- Work cross-functionally to create and execute a proactive, integrated communications plan for employees, benefits advisors, self-funded plan sponsors, and plan members.
- Manage all aspects of the Communications department to meet business needs; promote a culture of high-quality deliverables and a commitment to excellence.
- Build, maintain, and leverage strong relationships with other marketing leaders, firms, and agencies to align content calendars and positively position RxBenefits with all audiences.
- Lead creative thinking and copy development for key integrated storytelling projects and marketing initiatives, managing writing work from inception to completion.
- Monitor, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of storytelling efforts and media campaigns to expand awareness, reach, and visibility through continuous improvement.
- Mobilize the collective strength of our people by effectively conveying the company's mission, vision, values, and corporate strategy.
- Engage with executives and senior business leaders to shape and communicate major themes and key messages in the Company voice through a tactical comms roadmap.
- Support change management initiatives with thoughtful, integrated, cascading comms that generate excitement and optimism for the future of RxBenefits.
- Keep leaders well-briefed on the communications strategy and plan and ensure they show up in ways that are relevant, timely, and responsive to business developments.
- Develop and execute communication plans for crises, issues, and emergencies.
- As our business grows, recognize communications opportunities and use data to define and execute appropriate strategies to maintain a world-class communications capability.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism.
- Ten+ years of PBM industry experience.
- Minimum of seven years in a communications leadership position managing a team of copywriters and content producers
- Proven track record promoting a strong company culture and brand.
- Impeccable copywriting and copy-editing skills; outstanding editorial judgment.
- The creativity to produce exciting and interesting multimedia content and the ability to partner with creatives to take content to the next level.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to influence and drive results working with various individuals across subject areas within a matrixed environment.
- Strong executive presence and confidence, willing to take on big challenges, advocate a position, build a business case, and influence others.
- Successful track record developing original speeches and other communications content for senior executives.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute employee brand-building programs.
- Fluency with developing presentations (e.g., Keynote, PowerPoint) that bring complex ideas and creative concepts to life.
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with communications platforms.
- Expert at optimizing B2B content for social media marketing.
- Experience with search engine marketing, Google Analytics, and Google AdWords.
- Understanding of copywriting, graphic design, layout, and publishing.
- Working knowledge of content management systems and HTML coding.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
