Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Marketing Manager to join our team as a contractor. As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for various marketing tasks including content creation, design, and providing strategic marketing suggestions. It is desirable for the candidate to have a good understanding of the healthcare, aging, and/or technology industry. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of creativity, marketing expertise, and industry knowledge to effectively promote our company and its products/services. Given our start up environment, we are also looking for someone who can function independently with minimal supervision.
Position Overview:
As a Marketing Manager at Blooming Health, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity, narrative, and engaging our target audience through compelling content. You will work closely with the sales team to develop and execute comprehensive content strategies that resonate with aging service providers, older adults, caregivers, and other aging stakeholders while supporting sales and lead generation efforts. Your expertise in content creation, design, storytelling, branding, and marketing strategy will be essential to drive brand awareness and contribute to our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team and sales representatives to define content goals, target audience personas, and key messaging that aligns with our brand identity and business objectives. Develop a holistic content strategy that supports sales and lead generation efforts.
Content Creation: Create a wide range of content types, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, infographics, videos, and more. Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing and engaging content that reflects the startup's brand identity and value proposition.
Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs, gather insights, and develop content that supports the sales process. Provide sales enablement materials and tools that drive lead conversion.
Marketing Strategy: Contribute to the overall marketing strategy by aligning content, branding, and sales collaboration initiatives with broader marketing goals. Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all channels. Conduct market research to identify target audiences, industry trends, and competitors. Identify effective marketing channels for our target audience.
Lead Generation Strategy: Work with sales growth associates on content strategy to drive lead generation efforts, including creating gated assets such as ebooks, webinars, and case studies. Optimize content distribution to attract and convert qualified leads.
Content Calendar Management: Create and manage a comprehensive content calendar that includes blog posts, social media updates, press releases, and other content. Plan content releases around relevant industry events and campaigns.
Performance Analysis: Regularly monitor and analyze the performance of content, branding, and campaigns using analytics tools. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve engagement metrics.
Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, developments, and regulations within the aging-in-place and health tech industries. Incorporate this knowledge into content and strategies to position the startup as a thought leader.
Branding and Identity: Contribute to the development and maintenance of the startup's brand identity. Develop brand guidelines with the team and ensure consistent application across all content and marketing materials.
Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate the startup's mission, products, and solutions to diverse audiences. Develop stories that resonate with aging service professionals, older adults, investors, and other stakeholders.
Press Releases: Develop and distribute press releases to announce significant milestones, partnerships, product launches, and other newsworthy events. Build and maintain relationships with industry journalists and media outlets.
Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a social media strategy to amplify the startup's presence across various platforms. Create engaging and shareable content that aligns with the brand's voice and values.
SEO Optimization: Implement best practices for SEO to ensure that content is discoverable by search engines and reaches the intended audience.
