Countless projects for clients large and small. Started working with Java building development tools in the 90s. Consulting for companies mainly in the SF Bay Area in the early 2000s, then moved to Seattle in 2004. Wrote four books on Java software development.

Integrating front-end systems with back-end systems. Particular emphasis on keeping the systems easy to understand, build, test and deploy.

Early pioneer in the use of CI/CD for consulting projects. Built and sold a consulting company dedicated to CI/CD principles. Started out with Jenkins under the desk, today it's modern dedicated cloud platforms and GitHub Actions.

Built and shipped BlazeSky, a sci-fi action RPG featuring dozens of worlds to explore and full voice acting. Unity3d, extensive use of automated tests. Released on Steam on PC and macOS.
